What are the timeframes for construction?
Construction is due to commence in August 2022 and is expected to take approximately 12 months. Temporary facilities will be provided to the sporting clubs during construction.
Will any trees be removed?
The current concepts do not require any trees to be removed from the reserve.
What about the portables near the Neighbourhood Centre?
The new development will provide adequate change rooms for both ovals at the reserve, with the temporary facilities near the neighbourhood centre to be removed following completion of the project.
Are you changing the car parking?
There are minimal changes proposed to the existing car parking arrangement, with no reduction in parking proposed.
What about the Basketball Court at the reserve?
Recent consultation into the Stage 2 Dingley Neighbourhood Centre Early Learning Development posed and alternative options for the existing basketball court. Council are currently working through feedback received from this consultation.
