    My Community Life is a free website for not-for-profit community groups and organisations in the City Kingston to list their details, events, activities and volunteering opportunities.

    My Community Life also provides a resource for residents to find out how they can be involved in community life in the Kingston. It aims to increase social participation in Kingston by connecting our community members with their local opportunities through a free, easy to use website. It’s the best place to find out about what’s going on in Kingston!


  • Spring Road Reserve Draft Park Plan

    We're seeking your feedback and thoughts on a draft park plan for Spring Road Reserve in Dingley Village.

    In 2016, Council opened the former landfill site for public use. A new fence was installed around the perimeter of the park, rubbish bins were placed and we implemented a more frequent grass mowing regime.

    The draft plan provides a blueprint for future works at the reserve, including carparking, paths and trails, future ovals and park furniture, as funding becomes available.


  • Christina Terrace Reserve

    We're looking at upgrading Christina Terrace Reserve in Dingley Village to provide a public place that can be enjoyed and loved by the whole community.

    Earlier plans for the site had been put on hold after requests from residents to remove play elements from the plan, and to undertake investigations into the condition of the park’s pond and its ongoing sustainability.


  • Proposed Renaming of Keys Road Reserve

    Council is undertaking community consultation on the proposed renaming of Keys Road Reserve, located at 92 Keys Road, Moorabbin. We're proposing to the rename the reserve ‘Harold Caterson Reserve’ in recognition of Harold Caterson, a founding and long serving member of the Moorabbin Rugby Union Football Club.

  • Peter Scullin Reserve Draft Concept Plan

    As part of Council's commitment to improving open spaces, a draft concept plan has been prepared for picnic and minor playground upgrades at Peter Scullin Reserve in Mordialloc.

    We've developed a draft concept plan that creates a new picnic, toddler and youth spaces for community use.

    Council is implementing changes from a recent review of the Kingston Planning Scheme and is seeking your feedback on the proposed changes. This review aims to clean up the large document to make it easier to use, and includes:

    • removing out-dated content and policies
    • new wording to make it easier to understand
    • reordering the content for a more logical flow.

    It does not implement any new policies or plans.

    Council has prepared a Open Space Priorities Plan that presents a range of options on how to use new open spaces in the City of Kingston created through the Victorian Government's Level Crossing Removal Project.

    We're seeking your feedback on how to best use these open spaces, which are located between Centre Road and Wordsworth Avenue in Clayton South.


  • Mayoral and Councillor Allowances

    At a Council Meeting on 6 February 2017, Council resolved to give public notice in accordance with Section 74(4) of the Local Government Act 1989 (“the Act”) of its intention to set the Mayoral allowance at its current level of $88,845 per annum and the Councillor allowance at its current level of $29,615 per annum, plus an amount equivalent to the superannuation guarantee (currently 9.5%).


  • Kingston's Bay Trail

    Council has committed to completing the remaining section of the Bay Trail between Mentone Life Saving Club and the northern end of the foreshore at Mordialloc.

    In 2016, Council sought feedback from the community with two design options for this next section of the Bay Trail.
