Consultation has concluded


We’re investing $221m in everyday services and $81.6m in exciting new projects for the local community in the Draft 2019/20 Budget.


Key Budget facts

Some of these highlights include:

  • Enhancing our foreshore by rebuilding Edithvale, Aspendale, Mentone and Bonbeach Life Saving clubs
  • Looking after 90,000 trees as well as 367 parks, 60 sports grounds and 114 playgrounds
  • Supporting our community with over 15,000 immunisations and 200,000+ community care hours every year
  • And much more!

    Make a formal submission to the 2019/20 Draft Budget

    This form is for making a formal submission to the Draft Budget 2019/20.

    If a person wishes to be heard in support of their submission, they must include the request to be heard in the written submission and this will entitle them to appear in person, or by a person acting on their behalf.

    A Special Council Meeting will be held on Tuesday 11 June 2019 from 6.30pm at 1230 Nepean Highway, Cheltenham to consider submissions received. If you wish to be heard in support of your submission, please include this request in your submission. This will entitle you, or a person acting on your behalf, to appear in person.     Formal adoption of the Budget is proposed at an Ordinary Meeting of Council on Monday 24 June 2019.
