As part of both Council’s toilet strategy and regular improvements to local parks, a new, accessible toilet facility will be installed at Peter Scullin Reserve.
The Changing Places facility has been designed to ensure people of all abilities have access to public toilets while using the popular Peter Scullin Reserve and Mordialloc foreshore.
It will include an adult changing table, shower, wall-mounted privacy screen and hoist.
Additional public toilets are included within this structure to provide additional amenities at this popular site.
Accessing the Changing Places facility
The Changing Places facility will be locked when not in use and can only be accessed by using a Master Locksmiths Access Key (MLAK) that enables people with disabilities to access public facilities. These MLAK keys are available to eligible residents at $5 per key by visiting any of Council’s Customer Service Centres or Leisure Centre.
Location and design The detailed design documents for the new facility can be downloaded via the Document Library on the right. Council is keen to get your feedback on the detailed design concepts for the new facility as well as find out more about what would enhance your use of the facility.
