Council is responding to community requests for timed lighting at Chelsea Skate Park (Bicentennial Park) and is seeking community input.
What has been requested? Skate park regulars have requested automated lighting at the skate park until 10pm. Council would like to know what the wider Chelsea community thinks before the request progresses any further.
About the Chelsea Skate Park The Chelsea Skate Park was officially opened in August 2017.
The $1.4 million project was funded by Kingston Council with support from the Victorian Government’s Department of Justice and the Department of Human Services.
