Construction update (February 2023)
Construction is commencing soon on the new fenced off-leash dog park at Chadwick Reserve, with works expected to be complete by the end of June 2023.
The project will see the existing off-leash dog area transformed into a 3000 square metre enclosed dog park.
The inviting new open space for pets and their owners will feature a range of new facilities to experience, including:
- new dog agility equipment
- a large run-about area
- a separate area for small and shy dogs
- new granitic sand and grass areas
- new landscaping with tree plantings for biodiversity and more shade
- dog waste dispensers, bins and signage
- new shelter, picnic set, benches and drinking fountain
- boundary fence and gates
- new car park
