Help us finalise our Creative & Learning Strategy

In 2024 we asked the community to help shape Kingston’s first Creative & Learning Strategy, bringing together our arts, events and libraries into one shared vision for the future.

More than 1,600 community members shared their ideas, experiences and aspirations. Your feedback has played a vital role in the development of the Draft Creative & Learning Strategy 2026-2030.

Now we’re coming back to you to make sure we’ve got it right.

This second round of consultation is an opportunity to review the draft strategy and tell us if it reflects what you told us matters most.

We want to know whether the priorities, ideas and direction capture your vision for creativity, learning and cultural life in Kingston.

The draft strategy outlines a vision for a vibrant, inclusive and connected Kingston, where arts, events and libraries support lifelong learning, creativity and community connection.

It also highlights priorities such as improving access to facilities, expanding diverse programs and strengthening communication so more people can take part in Kingston’s cultural life.

Your feedback will help us refine the strategy before it is presented to Council for final adoption.

We encourage everyone to take a look at the draft and share their thoughts.

Together, we can ensure Kingston’s arts, events and libraries continue to inspire creativity, bring people together and support a thriving community.
