Please note: Council is holding a further consultation session on this issue. This is an additional session and will be added to the already considerable amount of community feedback received.
Council recently proposed a 24-hour dog off-lead area at Edithvale Foreshore Reserve. The proposed zone is located on the sand for a distance of 300m between Somme Lane and Bristol Avenue.
When we propose to establish new dog off-lead areas it’s important that Council balances the views and needs of all members of the community who use Kingston’s public parks and foreshore areas. This includes both dog owners and non-dog owners. As such, we’d like to hear your thoughts on this proposal.
