Elder Street South Reserve opening in early November!

We’re now at the final stage of construction works on Elder Street South Reserve, and can’t wait to welcome you to your new park in early November at a special opening event!

For the safety of the community, the reserve will be fully closed until early October while we undertake final works. The reserve will partially re-open from early October, with some areas remaining closed to allow for grass to establish and to complete remaining works.

We apologise for any inconvenience and will minimise disruption wherever possible, while maintaining a safe work site.

Once complete, Elder Street South Reserve will feature a wide range of outdoor activities for the local community, including:

• activity zone with outdoor exercise equipment
• multi-functional sports court
• ‘adventure woodland’ nature play area
• native grassland and grassy woodlands
• shared path network for pedestrians and cyclists
• open lawn areas
• picnic areas, seating and shelter
• toilet and water facilities
• parking.
