Consultation has concluded.
Help us shape the future of Kingston’s Community Grants
We are reviewing our Community Grants and are seeking feedback to help shape the program, from 2024.
Our Grants
Our grants support a wide range of health, welfare, sport and recreation, arts and culture, education and environment activities across several grant streams.
These grant streams currently include Annual Grants, Arts Grants, Children’s Week Grants, Cultural Diversity Meals Grants, Individual Development Grants, Junior Council Grants, Partnership Grants, Quick Response Grants and Student Awards Grants, plus management of the Kingston Charitable Fund.
The review aims to check that our grants are fair and inclusive, well-managed and deliver value to the community.
For the 2022-23 financial year to date, Council has allocated more than $1.6 million to 250-plus organisations, local groups and individuals for the benefit of the Kingston community.
What will we do with your feedback?
Your feedback will help guide the outcomes of the review and help inform recommendations for a future grants model.
