Kingston City Council aims to facilitate the installation of public Electric Vehicle chargers across its municipality to promote and support the uptake of Electric Vehicles (EV) by residents and those visiting the municipality. This builds on strategic work commissioned by the Southeast Councils Climate Change Alliance (SECCCA 2022). 18 prioritised locations have been identified and we are seeking business feedback to help inform how to prioritise locations, but also to identify ways in which Council can help businesses transition to encourage the uptake of electric vehicles and essential charging facilities.
