We’re putting together a plan for the streets and laneways where everyday life happens in the Mentone Activity Centre, from the morning coffee run to the Saturday wander.

Your feedback will help shape a long-term vision and guide how Council, developers, and the Victorian Government invest here, so those everyday moments keep getting better.

We're seeking your feedback to better understand:

  • what you value most about Mentone

  • what encourages you to visit and spend time in the area

  • what improvements would make the centre more welcoming, attractive and enjoyable in the future.

All feedback will help inform the development of the draft Streetscape Framework.

Consultation closes on Monday 24 August 2026.

What happens next?

We'll consider all community feedback alongside technical investigations to prepare a draft Streetscape Framework.

The draft framework will be available for community feedback during Stage 2 consultation in mid-2027, before it is finalised.
