We're excited to begin planning the next stage of the Patterson River Arts Trail - a public art project to celebrate and enhance the river corridor.

The initiative will feature sculptures or functional artworks (like seating or shade). Building on the success of the first installation, by artist Anton Hasell titled 'Contemplative Meeting Place Bell Sculpture' in Carrum - and guided by our Public Art Policy and Strategic Placement Plan - this project aims to deepen local connections, highlight community stories, and strengthen the cultural identity of the Patterson River.

We want to hear from you!

Tell us what the Patterson River means to you, share your connections to the space, and tell us what kinds of artwork you'd like to see along the river.

Your feedback will help shape a welcoming, meaningful public space that reflects our community's pride and shared ownership.

Have your say and you’ll go in the draw to win a double pass to Comedy at the Shirley, held in Shirley Burke Theatre.

Help bring this exciting project to life.
