Why is this planning important?
Planning for skate, dirt jump and pump track facilities as part of a broader network will help Kingston understand what facilities the community needs now and into the future. These facilities provide opportunities for people to be active, develop riding skills, enjoy outdoor recreation and spend time with others. Planning for them as a network will help Council consider where different types and levels of facilities are needed and how they can best serve the community, including young people.
