Proposed traffic changes - intersection of Boundary Road and Mills Road in Braeside
Following recent accidents, Council is working closely with the Department of Transport to address the issues and improve safety for our community.
Investigations into this intersection have been conducted. To improve safety, Council is proposing to create a traffic island and ban right all right turn movements – only permitting a left turn from Mills Road onto Boundary Road at this intersection.
This ban will significantly reduce the number of conflict points at this intersection, improving traffic conditions and safety for all road users.
