Construction update (February 2023)

Construction is commencing soon on the new fenced off-leash dog park at Chadwick Reserve, with works expected to be complete by the end of June 2023.

The project will see the existing off-leash dog area transformed into a 3000 square metre enclosed dog park.

The inviting new open space for pets and their owners will feature a range of new facilities to experience, including:

  • new dog agility equipment
  • a large run-about area
  • a separate area for small and shy dogs
  • new granitic sand and grass areas
  • new landscaping with tree plantings for biodiversity and more shade
  • dog waste dispensers, bins and signage
  • new shelter, picnic set, benches and drinking fountain
  • boundary fence and gates
  • new car park
