Kindergarten programs in 2024

To ensure the services continue to meet community needs, we been reviewing options for kindergarten service delivery at our Family & Children’s Centres.

Proposed changes

The review has identified several proposed changes, which would be implemented at the beginning of the 2024 calendar year. They are:

• Sessional (term only) kindergarten will no longer be available at Parkdale and Edithvale Family & Children's Centres;
• Sessional (term only) kindergarten will continue to be available at Carrum Family & Children's Centre;
• An increased number of long day (extended day) kindergarten places will be available at all three Family & Children's Centres.
