Help shape the future of Kingston by sharing what matters most to you in your neighbourhood by completing our Liveability Survey. Your feedback will help guide planning and investment prioritisation in Kingston over the next four years.

What makes a place 'liveable' can look different for different people - depending on their expectations, life stages and abilities - that's why we are keen to hear from a wide range of people to ensure we understand what matters most to the Kingston community. The survey includes a series of questions about your 'ideal neighbourhood', and then we ask you to rate your 'current neighbourhood'. We'd like your thoughts on:

  • Parks and public spaces
  • Shopping precincts and buildings
  • Community services and safety
  • Landscaping and natural elements
  • Driving, parking and transport
  • Play and recreation spaces
  • Education and employment
  • Local history and landmarks
  • Sustainable urban design

+ more!

Plus, complete the survey for your chance to win one of ten $100 shopping vouchers!

****This survey closed at midnight on Sunday 24 March 2024.

Project background

Our Liveability Survey is one of our most important community engagement and research projects. In 2020, almost 3000 people shared what was important to them in their neighbourhoods and rated the liveability of the place they lived, worked or visited in Kingston.

This year, we're seeking your feedback on what matters most to you and if anything has changed since 2020 to help the City of Kingston make community-centric planning decisions. Place Score is the independent research organisation leading the project.
