We're starting to plan a new community event for the North Ward and are inviting locals to share your ideas.
Why does Council run community events? Community events are a great way to bring people together, to make new connections and to celebrate the area.
Council is proud to run a number of different events across Kingston throughout the year.
Why are you planning a new event for the North Ward?
In recent years Kingston Council has reviewed the community events it runs across the city and made a number of changes including
relocating some events - Carols by Kingston is now held at Bicentennial Park
cancelling poorly attended events - the Harvest Festival and Globe to Globe Festivals were not run in 2018
strengthening existing events - in 2019 we increased our Australia Day citizenship celebrations and continued our popular Mordi Fest event.
Help us plan the new North Ward Community Event
Council is now keen to launch a new community event in the North Ward and is seeking community input on what you'd like to see.
