Speed limit change - Rowans Road Moorabbin

Many residents have told us that they want to see less ‘through traffic’ on Rowans Road and would prefer it to be used more as a ‘local’ street, (with improved road safey at side roads).

The community would prefer for through traffic to use Nepean Highway and South Road (the designated arterial roads) instead.

We have delivered changes to Rowans Road that supported community sentiment to better reflect the use of Rowans Road as a local street. These works have included the installation of flat top speed humps, bicycle lanes and traffic islands on Rowans Road.
