Kingston is committed to being a child safe organisation.

Our Child Safe Framework sets out our commitment to deliver services and facilities in a way that protects children by:

• outlining clear policies and procedures to prevent, report and respond to any issues relating to Child Safety
• adopting a zero-tolerance approach towards child abuse in everything we do
• promoting a culture of transparency and partnership with families and our community.

Kingston is updating its Child Safe Framework and is checking in with the community to ensure that:

• it reflects a strong commitment to child safety
• there is a clear process for reporting child safety issues
• the community has confidence Kingston is creating a child safe culture.

To make sure we are creating a Child Safe organisation, Council has developed:
