Council is proposing to limit the number of dogs that can be under someone’s control in designated off-leash areas, to no more than 4 at a time.

This is because large groups of dogs off-leash may be harder to keep under effective control, posing risks to the community, other dogs and reserve facilities.

Consultation with the community will enable Officers to determine whether there is community support for the change.

Please take a moment to complete our short survey below, to indicate whether you would support the introduction of this order and provide any additional feedback.

Thanks to everyone who provided feedback during our community consultation.
