Draft Budget 2026/27

During the draft budget process, all Talking Kingston community submissions were considered, along with a range of factors, including alignment with current policies and strategies, funding our key community services, maintaining existing vital community assets and delivering any new facilities or initiatives our community needs. We're pleased to release the Draft Budget 2026/27 ahead of its consideration at the 25 May Council Meeting.

Kingston Cost of Living Support

The rising cost of living is creating financial challenges for many. Our community have told us they’re finding it harder to make ends meet. That’s why we're proposing to continue our support to residents going through financial hardship - including discounts on rates, leisure centre access, and pet registration. Find out more here
