The property owners of the former Kingston Golf Course site (197-217 Centre Dandenong Road, Dingley Village) have applied to Council to remove 10 trees from the site (under 8 applications).
The trees are protected under local law and a permit is required for removal.
Council is seeking community feedback on the proposal prior to determining the application.
Which trees are the owners seeking permission to remove?
An application has been lodged with Council seeking permission to remove:
4 x Hesperocyparis macrocarpa - Monterey Cypress (exotic)
3 x Melaleuca armillaris - Bracelet Honey Myrtle (native planted)
1 x Angophora costata - Smooth Barked Apple (Victorian native)
1 x Eucalyptus mannifera - Brittle Gum (Victorian native)
1 x Cypress (exotic)

An arborist assessment of each tree (including its species, age, height & width, health and more) is also provided in the Document Library.
