Le Page Park - Playground Redevelopment

Our beautiful new playground is open!

Thank you to all the community who provided feedback and ideas for our new community facility.

Project history

As part of our ongoing investment in parks and open spaces, Council identified the need for a new playground for the community at Le Page Park.

A concept plan was developed and community feedback was received.

Key feature:

• a new local level playspace with play equipment for all ages
• a custom combination unit with slides, nets, climbing ramp, talk tubes, bead maze and shop counter
• a tri swing set with senior, junior and basket swing
• a custom rope play unit with balancing course
• a spring rocker and spinner bowl
• nature play, including boulders, and logs
• park furniture including shelter with picnic table, drinking fountain, and seats
• new accessible path
• new garden beds and trees.

Project time frames
Construction was completed early 2022.
