    In March and June 2023 we consulted with Kingston’s creative, business and residential communities to find out what public art means to them.

    The 'Community Consultation Summary Reports' in the Documents library on the right-hand side of this page summarise the comments we received, and we've incorporated the feedback into a draft Public Art Policy and draft Public Art Placement Plan.

    Thank you to everyone who helped us shape Kingston's Public Art Policy and Public Art Placement Plan.

    The draft Public Art Policy and draft Public Art Placement Plan were endorsed at the 24 July 2023 Council Meeting and will now be finalised and implemented.

    These documents will help Council identify priority projects, locations and the types of public art we should invest in.
