Consultation has concluded
Extension of the Southern Carpark at Sir William Fry Reserve, Highett
With popular events such as the Kingston Farmers’ Market and the Craft Market attracting hundreds of visitors, parking demand at Sir William Fry Reserve in Highett has increased over the last twelve (12) months.
Council is responding to community feedback with a proposal to extend the southern carpark at Sir William Fry Reserve.
What is being proposed?
The proposed works would include a gravel extension to the carpark and would provide more adequate parking for market goers and other reserve users with a gravel extension to the car park.
In combination with markers to formalise these parking bays, this would provide around 25 additional parking spots.
Please refer to the map for details of the proposed works.
