Will there be changes to the car parking?
We're improving the car park by resurfacing the asphalt and adding an accessible car parking space. There will also be bike racks available for use.
Will any trees be removed?
During construction, five insignificant and/or non-Indigenous trees will be removed, in addition to one significant tree deemed in poor health, following a comprehensive arborist assessment. Following the works, 18 replacement trees will be planted in the reserve or surrounding areas, consistent with Council's 3:1 tree replacement requirement.
When will construction commence?
Construction is due to commence in early-2026 and will take approximately 12-16 months to complete.
