Draft Asset Plan 2025 - 2035
This consultation has now closed.
Thank you to everyone who shared their feedback during the consultation period in August and September. Your input has helped inform Council’s long-term planning and contributed to shaping the priorities within the Asset Plan adopted at the 27 October Council Meeting.
You can view the Asset Plan and stay up to date on future progress and reporting through our website.
Council manages approximately $2.2 billion worth of community assets – from roads and footpaths, to parks, drains, libraries, sportsgrounds, and community centres.
The Draft Asset Plan 2025 – 2035 outlines how we’ll maintain, renew and invest in Kingston’s assets over the next 10 years. It's based on what you told us matters most:
- Keeping existing infrastructure in good condition
- Providing equitable and inclusive spaces
- Planning for climate resilience and population growth.
How we developed the plan
To ensure the plan reflects community needs, we gathered data from the Liveability survey and the Prioritise your Asset survey. This informed our conversation with our Collaborative Engagement Panel, who delivered several recommendations in preparing the Asset Plan. This Asset Plan has been shaped by what you told us.
Have your say
Take a look at the Draft Asset Plan or the summary to see how well it responds to your priorities and recommendations, and tell us if we’ve got it right.
