Vibrant 102-year-old Edith Wood has seen countless changes in the area over her remarkable lifetime. The lifelong Kingston resident's fondest memories date back to the 1930s, visiting Chester Road's famous markets. Today, Edith enjoys her days out on the council bus, whether to take in the beautiful coastal views, have lunch, or take part in social activities. What Edith loves most about Kingston is its ideal location and wonderful community. Close to the beach, city, and “countryside”, there's no better place to live out her secret to a long life: “staying busy and keeping the mind active”! Thank you, Edith, for sharing your journey.
