Hairdresser and local business identity Wendy Ford has called Kingston home since age five. Beloved by many, Wendy has made lifelong friends during Kingston's history. She operated the Chelsea Picture Theatre, hosted public dances with the Dennis Farmington Orchestra, and taught dance classes at the iconic Balmoral residence. Her favourite place in Kingston is the Woodlands Golf Club, whose natural surroundings are second to none in the area. She also credits “the most kind and helpful" Parkdale business community for their dedication to creating a “fabulous shopping strip."
