Sally Kenny
previous next
Since moving to Highett in 2009, Sally Kenny has seen it go from a “sleepy little village” to a foodie hotspot—a “joy”, as she puts it! Sally’s first taste of Kingston’s community vibe began at Highett Preschool in 2014. It wasn’t just her children who found somewhere to belong—Sally forged lifelong friendships that continue to this day. These days, Sally’s heart is with Southmoor Primary School, which she considers one of Kingston's best-kept secrets. Nestled between Bricker Reserve and Morris Moor, the school combines stunning grounds with the innovative Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden program. As a school council member, Sally has seen it grow into a thriving community hub. For fun, Sally hits the track as a dedicated parkrunner at Karkarook Park every Saturday morning. She loves the “welcoming and inclusive” vibe that brings people together, rain or shine.
